When you plant the seed of Chinese bamboo, for four years you see nothing. You water it, remove weeds, take care of the soil, but not a single shoot appears above the surface. People around you laugh and say you are wasting your time on empty ground. But in the fifth year, the bamboo grows 25 meters in just six weeks.
The essence: Did the bamboo grow in six weeks or in five years? The answer is – five years. If the effort had stopped on any day during those four years, the bamboo would have died in the ground.
